This year, the “Everything for the Guest” the leading trade fair for gastronomy and the hotel industry, is setting a completely new focus. From the 11th to the 15th of November, the Salzburg Arena of the Salzburg Exhibition Center will become the Competence Center for commercial kitchen technology.
System gastronomy and communal catering have developed into important factors within the gastronomy and hotel industry. In order to take this development into account, the commercial kitchen will be placed in the spotlight from the 11th to the 15th of November 2023 at “Everything for the Guest” in Salzburg. The Salzburg Arena of the Exhibition Center will become the Competence Center for commercial kitchen technology.
“The beverage world was our first theme hall and was very well received by both exhibitors and visitors. With the new commercial kitchen technology Competence Center, we are building on the successes of last year. In order to keep up with the pulse of the times, we will once again this year be setting the focus on themes and placing the exchange of knowledge in the foreground”, said Michael Mayerhofer the trade fair director of “Everything for the Guest”.
Master classes answer current questions
Master classes and product presentations on the most burning topics and innovations of the entire kitchen world take place on their own stage in the new Competence Center throughout the day with an integrated show kitchen. It will serve as a central meeting place and as a knowledge center of the industry and will offer trade visitors concentrated know-how. Well-known chefs and brand ambassadors will present the many functions of the smart devices and quickly conjure up the most amazing delicacies with the help of state-of-the-art commercial kitchen technology. These may of course be tasted by the visitors.
Rational Austria, for example, will demonstrate in a master class how the hooded kitchen works without a stove. Lukas Nagl, Gault & Millau Koch of the year 2023 (sponsored by Rational) will prove his skills. And for Metro, Emilia Eppensteiner (owner of Rosa & Blau Food) and Aaron Walter (Executive Head Chef at Metro) will present the topic “Young-HoReCa”.
Exhibitors are convinced by a new world of topics
“We think it’s great that the fair generates new ideas and also collects them from the exhibitors. With the new concept, visitors will find concentrated competence in all aspects of commercial kitchen technology in one hall. This is important right now, because the efficiency of kitchen processes will be the dominant topic of the next few years”, said Ingo Rainer, Managing Director at Rational Austria.
Welbilt also sees great potential for the future in the new Competence Center: “Because the demands in professional kitchens continue to grow due to rising energy prices, lack of staff and a declining number of guests”, said Managing Director Hans-Werner Schmidt.
Companies return to “Everything for the guest”
After a short break, gastro total will be represented as an exhibitor at the “Everything for the Guest” again this year. Why did the company decide on the trade fair again? “I think it is important to give our customers the chance to exchange ideas comprehensively with the professionals from classic gastronomy, system gastronomy and communal catering”, answered Velimir Sevir, Managing Director at gastro total.
The companies Stoelner and Meiko Clean Solutions Austria have also been convinced of the concept and will return to the popular trade fair after being absent for a few years. “The new topic area not only promotes personal customer loyalty even more, but also offers visitors a contemporary trade fair experience through individual services and services”, said Günther Maurer, Managing Director of Stoelner.
Commercial kitchen Competence Center attracts new exhibitors
As new exhibitors, some important brands have been won. Including Devpack as a specialist in the C+C area as well as the companies ScanBox and W. Meier GmbH. Michael Meier, Managing Director at W. Meier GmbH, is enthusiastic about the commercial kitchen Competence Center: “An entire area, which is designed solely for the topic of commercial kitchen technology, communal catering and system gastronomy, is a must for every interested restaurateur and visitor.
